Su Powers joined the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers (HACFM) in November of 2006. She is the Housing Choice Voucher Family Self Sufficiency (HCV FSS) Coordinator and HOPE VI Relocation Coordinator within the organization. As a HCV FSS coordinator, she assists HCV FSS participants in accomplishing the goals they’ve set forth in the program. As a HOPE VI Relocation Coordinator, her primary duty is to relocate families to other housing unit during the revitalization of Michigan Court. Su came to HACFM with experiences from King County Housing Authority White Center HOPE VI Project and Denver Housing Authority RCS Homeownership Program. She is passionate about affordable housing for low income families and providing services to become self sufficient.
